Finding the perfect size for your bread bag may feel like a small detail in everyday life, but for those of us who love the smell of freshly baked sourdough bread or a delicious Danish rye bread, it's actually an art in itself.

Thank you for your feedback that you wanted a larger bread bag.

Many of you have contacted us and asked for a larger bread bag,and I understand exactly why! It was thanks to your feedback that I created a larger bread bag. I've been there myself. I've stood in the kitchen with a bag that was way too small that barely fit my large loaf of bread or a bread bag that was so big that the bread almost floated around and became dry faster than I could blink.

It's thanks to your feedback that I created a larger bread bag. Now you can find the right size for your freshly baked bread! It's about combining function with style and doing it in a way that feels both sustainable and beautiful in your home.

When it comes to bread storage, "just right" is the magic word. A natural material bread bag (like linen with a lining on the inside) works best when it can enclose the bread without trapping too much air, but still gives the crust room to "breathe." So bigger bread bags for bigger loaves!

  • Too small bags: You are forced to cut the bread in half prematurely, which causes the cut surface to dry out immediately.

  • Too large bags: The excess air in a huge bag can cause the bread to lose its elasticity faster.

I always keep two sizes at home – a smaller one for rolls and a larger one for loaves. This means I always have the right bag on hand and the bread stays at its best.

How to extend the life of bread with the right bag

Choosing a larger bread bag is just the beginning. How you store the bread in the bag also plays a big role. Here are some tips that I always follow:

  • Let the bread cool completely before putting it in the bag . Heat creates condensation and moisture that makes the bread soft and moldy quickly.

  • Store the bag at room temperature . The refrigerator will dry out the bread, and the freezer is best for longer storage.

  • Use a breathable bag . Materials like cotton and linen allow some air to pass through, which is ideal.

  • Clean the bag regularly . Wash it according to the instructions to avoid bacteria and bad odors.

With these simple tricks and the right size bag, you can enjoy freshly baked bread for days on end. It feels like a small victory every time I cut into a slice that is still soft and smells wonderful.

Thank you for your feedback!
