When I started Bread Bestie, it was crucial to work with a European factory that shared my values of quality, sustainability and fair working conditions. After a careful search process, I found a small family-owned factory with a strong tradition of craftsmanship. Here, each bread bag is made with care, in sustainable materials and with respect for both people and the environment.
I am proud of this collaboration and of being able to offer a product created with care.
Craftsmanship & Sustainability
The factory we work with has a "zero waste" principle, where every step of production is optimized to minimize waste. Most of the steps are handmade, which makes each product unique.
Linen – A Material With History
The factory has a passion for linen and wants to revive its historical significance in the region. Linen is durable, ages beautifully and withstands washing well, making it one of the most sustainable materials.
Ethical & Social Responsibility
All employees work under fair conditions with employment contracts and reasonable terms. The factory operates as a social enterprise where profits are reinvested in supporting ecological initiatives and preserving traditional craft techniques.
Quality & Technology
Each product undergoes several manual quality checks to ensure the highest standards. At the same time, modern technology such as advanced sewing machines and embroidery machines are used to enable repeatability and precision in every detail. Through this collaboration, I can offer beautiful, durable and unique linen products that will last for many years.
